Due to COVID-19, Shepherd University suspended most current newspaper subscriptions; this suspension is still ongoing. Please review the "Current newspapers" box below to view which papers the library subscribes to and their format (if different than print).

Where Are the Dailies Kept?

 

Daily newspapers (as the library receives them) are placed in the tall black rack in the community reading room.

New York Times: Currently suspended in print; online access is not for the current year

Shepherdstown Chronicle: Renewed subscription--Current year Sept 1, 2023 start date

Wall Street Journal: Currently suspended

Washington Post: Online only

This page GENERALLY lists the print newspapers (and how long the library holds onto the print copy).  Since the COVID-19 pandemic, access methods to certain papers have changed; these are marked here but are not directly linked. Please view the Master List  for any  alternate formats access points for particular newspapers (such as the New York Times)
