1924: CELEBRATE A HUNDRED YEARS!
Fall term 2024's display is a look back to another century. It was the "Roaring Twenties," and even here at Shepherd, celebration and change were occurring. The celebration here was the 50th anniversary of the first graduating class of 1874 and the changes included the addition of a gym building to campus, new campus organizations, and new ideas.
Outside of campus, mass-produced items were making life more comfortable for the general public, new discoveries were announced, and how Americans perceived the world and their place in it changed.
