Setting up "Watch Folder" will allow Mendeley to import new PDFs in the folders of your choosing to Mendeley library automatically. To set up the watch folder, go to Mendeley Desktop, from the "Add Files" pull down arrow, choose "Watch Folder..."
From the Options window, choose the folder/folders on your local computer you want Mendeley to watch and click OK.
