Award-Winning Children's Literature: Home

Finding Books

You can find award-winning children's books are located in the youth collection, which is on the third floor of the Scarborough Library. Unlike most other books in the library, the children's collection is catalogued according to the Dewey Decimal System, not Library of Congress classification.

For a full record of library holdings that have won Newbery, Caldecott, or Coretta Scott King awards, do a keyword search for the name of the award in WorldCat Discovery, the Scarborough Library's online catalogue. A list of the books owned by the library that have won the award will then appear as your search results.
