Shepherd University and the Foundation Center

A Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center of New York. The University Library's Foundation Collection is one of over 340 collections affiliated with the Foundation Center in New York .

Foundation Center participation is made possible in cooperation with the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle, the Carl M. Freeman Foundation, the Eastern West Virginia Community Foundation, and Shepherd University .

Established in 1956, the Foundation Center is the nation's leading authority on institutional philanthropy, connecting nonprofits and grantmakers. Resources include current and comprehensive information about foundations, corporate and federal funding agencies, fundraising techniques, and proposal writing.
