Books on Appalachian studies can be found in a number of locations.

Books on Appalachian history are in the E class range, but they are organized by historical period, not by region.

Appalachian literature is located various places within the PS class range of the library, but you can search for specific time periods like the 19th century (PS201-217) or for a specific geographical region like the South (PS 261-267).

Appalachian folklore can be found under GR 99.6-390, while Appalachian music may be located with folklore or at various places within the M class range.
